A national disgrace.

The stories and pictures that continue to bombard us from the Gulf Coast send shivers down the spine and tear deeply at our national heart. The federal goverment has reacted shamefully; if this is how we're prepared to act in times of crisis and chaos, then God help us if there's another terrorist attack. Normally, the President's incompotence threatens only our democratic values, this time it's costing lives. I will continue to pray for all the victims, and also for our leaders, in hopes that they will find the wisdom, courage, and fortitude to finally do what is necessary.
