A tiny little bit of my faith in our democracy

has been restored.

I was just thinking on my home today how tragic it is that moderate voices seem to have no real power any more in Washington. Then, I get to read this before going to bed. Kudos to John McCain, Joe Lieberman, Lindsey Graham (the shrinking alien) and the rest of the remaining rational lawmakers in the United States Senate. I guess they'll be no need for those cots that Bill Frist ordered. He sure does come out of this whole mess looking awfully silly.
